A nice lunchtime surprise
Around noon today, I got a call from the front desk at work. “Your wife is here.”
Not only did she buy me lunch in the cafeteria, she brought me a present – a Lamy Al-Star Aluminum fountain pen, from a store in the Galleria!
She knew that I’d been planning on getting a Lamy Safari with a “fine” nib to try out, so she bought me the Al-Star, which is just like the Safari except it has a metal body instead of plastic.
So far, I like it. I’ll still be getting a blue Safari with a fine tip, but this Al-Star is a great pen.
