Wikipedia is Evil

I’m the kind of kid who used to read the encyclopedia (a 1957 edition of the World Book that my grandmother bought when my mother was in high school, and my mother still owns it) for fun.

For people like me, WikiPedia is a bad, BAD thing.

Tonight I started by looking up information on steam trains.

Three hours later, I realized that I’d somehow done enough “open in new tab” sidetrack browsing that I was now reading about spy satellites, B-52 bombers, and the SR-71 spy plane.

I always thought that’d be a neat browser plug-in. Something that tracks your initial Wikipedia search item through the last article you read.

    Wikipedia is the perfect drug.

Ahhhhhhh yes a man after my own heart. It’s worse when that happens when you are looking something up at work tho :P

Yes, but how long would you have to go before returning to your original article? There must be a mathamatical way of figuring it out ;)
