Thrown out of a Wal-Mart for ribbon color choices
I try to avoid Wal-Mart whenever possible, but now I have yet another reason. This lady got thrown out of a Wal-Mart for trying to buy green, yellow, and purple ribbons (Mardi Gras colors) because Mardi Gras is “morally corrupt”.

Thanks for spreading what will become urban legend if it hasn’t reached this level allready. I expect more from a real geek to than to beleve this load of crap without looking a bit deeper. I’m an ex-walmarter, i hate the bitch manager I worked for, but this is just a huge load of bullpucky. Walmart is a corporation, they will sell you just about anything you like. Except for pr0n and other extremely offensive items.
There policy is: The customer is always right is there attitude and is preached religously. Ribbon is also a very high markup item they would not refuse to sell it to anyone. No deptartment manager would remove them for the sales floor.

Also, if it is made in China it is certainly sold in a WalMart!
