Captialism at its finest!

People who want to hear Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s famous “I Have a Dream” speech now need to pay money if they want to hear or use the speech in its entirety, as his estate holds the copyright and considers it a profit center.

Somehow, I don’t think that’s what Dr. King intended.

    To me it’s as ridiculous if the Jefferson family requested payment everytime someone quoted the Declaration of Independence. if the King family wants their cash cow then we should do away with the holiday. I agree, this is not what King would have wanted.
