It will be my OpenSolaris and LDAP test box, and possibly a Directory Server work environment.

Hey Bill!
Do you have experience with Solaris? I did linux several years now and as soon as i get a new (old) box I´ll try Solaris, too.
Let me know if it all works the way you want.
