  1. Clinton seemed to spend a lot of time on vacation too. But really I’m through defending politicians whether they’re Democratic or Republican. We need to perform a CTRL-ALT-DEL on the whole system.

And in case you’re wondering… I remember you from cfgeeks or pengonia or one of those lists. I track your blog with Bloglines and I’m in a vocal mood today.

I’ll probably sober up tonight and wonder WTH I ranted on your blog. πŸ˜‰

  2. Personally, I don’t care if a politician is a Democrat or Republican. I think the whole “party” system is flawed.

I think the whole thing should be replaced with “Here are the people who want to run for this office. Here is their platform of goals and issues and proposed solutions. Vote for the person you think will do the best job.”

We’ve turned something incredibly simple (electing a leader via vote of the people) to something incredibly complex and full of corruption.

  3. Well, lesse, he’s been in office about 168 weeks. That’s 168 weekends X 2 days each. That’s gives me about 336 days off for the normal American not including normal vacation time. Add in 2 weeks a year and you’ve got 378 days off in that time. I’d say he’s due another 150 days off. And on those days at his ranch you know he still gets his briefings and is kept up to date on what’s happening. How would you like to never be able to get completely away from work for 4 or 8 years?

As you can tell I’m in a particularly surly mood lately. πŸ™‚

  4. Every time someone critisizes Bush his supporters bring up Clinton. It’s like telling mom your sister did the same thing, or something worse, thus getting you off the hook or at least off topic.

    Lame.
