Comment Spam

I’m seeing a lot of “comment spam” on this weblog as well as the SunHELP and MacHELP sites I run (which use MT as a backend), so I’ve installed the MT-Blacklist plugin to help cut down on that activity as well as some behind-the-scenes changes.

    bill, i noticed your weblog down a few days ago and now this? what’s been happening?! i went on vacation and came back to the stalking stuff. hope all is well now.

    I renamed the CGIs from the standard name and started running a bit of SQL to close out comments on old threads. That seems to be helping.
